TV 1000 first ident from 1989

Here you can see the very first ident that TV 1000 had in 1989. TV 1000, which is now Viasat Film in Scandinavia, was the second movie channel here after FilmNet. In the start, the channel broadcasted from 16.00 to 01.00 in weekdays and from 08.00 to 04.00 in weekends. In the end, TV 1000 also started to broadcast 24 hours a day.

The very first ident was magical for me, because none of the other tv channels used those colors here in Norway. I remember watching TV 1000 idents a lot and the program schedule. My friend had a different cable operator than me, so TV 1000 wasnt scrambled during the day when it showed commercials about itself all the time. So, we watched it a lot. Was fun! Because my cable operator which we had didnt show that. TV 1000 is remembered as one of the most iconic movie channels here in Scandinavia. Its really sad to see that Viasat decided to change the name!
